December 2008 events at Goshen College

All events are open to the public and are free unless otherwise noted.

7:30 p.m., "A Festival of Carols," Sauder Concert Hall, Music Center
The Goshen College Music Department's fifth annual Christmas extravaganza will feature Goshen College ensembles, students and faculty in a musical celebration of the season.
Tickets are $12 (reserved seating), limited availability at the Welcome Center or by calling (574) 535-7566.

1 p.m., Afternoon Sabbatical – "An Early Renaissance Christmas Medley," Sauder Concert Hall, Music Center
Renaissance music with the Maple City Brass Ensemble and the Maple City Consort recorder group will accompany Professor Emerita of French and Humanities Judith Davis as she takes us back to early France and England for the most important celebration of the year. This holiday treat will include carols, legends, dances, feasts and tales.

4 p.m., Community Hymn Sing –"A Moravian Love Feast," Rieth Recital Hall, Music Center
Led by Assistant Professors of Music Scott Hochstetler and Christine Thögersen.

Goshen College's Administration Building, Church-Chapel, Good Library, Music Center, Newcomer Center, Union Gymnasium, Umble Center and Westlawn Lounge are accessible to people using wheelchairs and others with physical limitations.
