Housing

Goshen College is a residential campus. This means that nearly all students live on campus. During the Christmas and summer breaks the residence halls are closed. International students who are staying in Goshen have housing options. The college opens some of the off campus small group housing – where you can stay during breaks. Students who want to stay in the off campus housing during breaks must sign up with the Student Life Office.

During the Christmas and summer breaks, there are not many activities around campus. International students who are staying around campus often make their own activities. International potluck is a popular one that international students do when there is nothing else going on. This is when each person brings a meal originally from his/her country to share with the group. Everybody eats and enjoys a variety of good food from all around the world! The International Student Club also arranges activities such as: trips to the beach and to Cedar Point (an amusement park in Ohio) during the summer; sporting activities at the on campus rec-fitness center; oriental or international market trips; and movie / pizza nights.
